Since starting my consulting business in 2015, I’ve managed to assist clients with obtaining verification for thousands of ingredients and products through the Non GMO Project Verification process. Having worked with FoodChain ID, NSF International for years, I've been able to build solid relationships with their customer service teams and I've been working with the ever changing NGP Standard since 2012. I know the ins and outs of the high risk ingredients and what the Technical Administrators require in order to proceed with products with speed and ease.
I was interviewed by several publications for my breakthrough as a young professional in the Natural & Organic Food Industry when I started working on verifications over 12 years ago while I worked for Saffron Road Foods brand. More Importantly, my ability to get complex products verified in a timely manner, even the buyers at WFM were quite impressed.
I also come to you with Natural & Organic Food & Beverage Industry experience in both Retail & Food Service Sales. Trade show & Consumer Event Management, Research & Development, Internal Quality Assurance, and Marketing. I previously held the role of Certification Program Director for 12 facilities including: Non-GMO Project, Organic, Halal, Gluten Free Certified Humane, etc.
My position as an Account Manager with NSF International, allowed me to serve nearly 200 clients through their Non-GMO Project Verification process as a technical administrator. I then went back to consulting. I have many satisfied and repeat clients, however due to the privacy of their brands, I do not post their information on my website.
I previously co-owned and operated a small peri-urban Organic Vegetable farm in Lafayette, Colorado. I worked directly with local restaurants and farmer’s markets to bring the most nutritious and delicious regenerative organic food to my local neighborhood, just like food should be. Having this hobby turn reality brought so much joy to my life.
I’m also a certified Holistic Health & Wellness Coach, helping people balance their health, wellness & happiness in this ever chaotic world we live in. I have three cute kids and when I have a minute of free time you can find me hiking, traveling, reading, writing & finding awesome farm to table restaurants around the country.
I have had the pleasure of being interviewed for many articles relating to Non-GMO Project Verification. I have been written up in the Specialty Food Association (June 2014), as well as interviewed with the Huffington Post for women leaders in business (July 2014). I also won a prestigious award in 2014: Fairfield County Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award, which is presented to successful young business professionals in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
